The Douglas fir tree is originally from the west coast of North America and gained dominance in France with the reforestation programmes after the Second World War, where it now mainly grows in the Massif Central and Burgundy. France is the most important Douglas fir region in Europe, and that is where our most important regular suppliers are located.
